For the past few years, I’ve been struggling a lot. However, I haven’t just been struggling physically but emotionally as well.

I’ve dealt with depression and anxiety since I was in elementary school, and as I got older, it seems the emotional pain has gotten worse.

I look at what my life is currently like, and it depresses me even more.

I’ll be 36 in February, and I’m still single and living with my parents while working in a job that I passionately hate.

I try to remind myself the reason why I moved back in with my parents to help me not feel so depressed about it, and sometimes it helps, and other times it doesn’t.

Life Has Been a Struggle.

Back in 2016, when I was 28, I caught a viral infection that wasn’t treated in time, and it developed into sepsis, which then progressed to septic shock.

I was in a coma for eleven days and hospitalized for a little over a month.

While in the hospital, the doctors put me on dialysis for kidney failure, and I had several blood transfusions.
