One of the consequences of being single when everyone else is married with kids is that you tend to be invisible.

Or others only interact with you for a moment since you don’t have anything to bring to a conversation topic that’s aimed at people who are married.

Also, your accomplishments often go unnoticed because you’re single and childless. For single women, It’s when they get engaged, married, pregnant, and give birth that they can join the “club” and be celebrated.

Single Women Have Something to Say.

Life doesn’t revolve around being married and having children. There’s more to your life than finding and having a partner and starting a family.

I don’t say that because I’ve been single all my life and have yet to be in a relationship, so I’m bitter. I say this because we may be single, but that doesn’t mean we want to be left out.

I know firsthand how difficult it is trying to participate in conversations with my siblings when we’re altogether since they’re all married and have kids.

The conversation usually falls into the married life category. (Because they’re married).
